Crape Myrtle “Tuskegee”
Excellent ornamental small deciduous tree. Large panicles of pink flowers bloom in summer amid glossy green foliage that turn red in fall. The cinnamon colored bark is smooth, peeling to shiny light gray. Always an attractive “eye catcher”.
Deciduous trees can “drop” their leaves during winter. No worries. They will return.
Light Needs: partial to full sun
Water Needs: Once established, only occasional
Size: to 20 ft. Can be trimmed.
Year round interest. Showy color. Bird friendly.
